Why Do Minnesotans Love Their Twins?
Minnesotans are loyal fans of our Minnesota Twins baseball team. We seem to have a love/hate relationship with all our sports teams, but probably more so with the Twins than any other team. Every season we start with fresh hopes and dreams and they give us a ride for sure. Many times (lately) they land near the bottom, but they’re also the team that has given Minnesota two World Championships – so we can’t ever
give up on our favorite team. Here are a few reasons why we love our Minnesota Twins.
Everyone is a fan of staying cool
We are in the heart of summer – back to school still seems far away, fourth of July bashes are over and baseball season is in full swing. As Minnesotans, we cherish our summer days and nights at the ball field. What’s better than a hot dog in one hand, an ice cold drink in the other and your favorite red, white and blue jersey? But another thing we cherish is staying cool even during the hottest innings. Here are some tips you can bring with you on how to stay comfy at the ballpark.

This weekend the Minnesota Twins take on the Chicago White Sox at Target Field. Like most Minnesotans, we love cheering for the hometown team, but the connection between Carrier and the Twins runs deeper than just our state pride.
Former Minnesota Twins player, Kent Hrbek, is the spokesman for Carrier. He started working with Carrier in 1987, the same year the Minnesota Twins defeated the St. Louis Cardinals to win the World Series.
There's no denying that Target Field has been a hit (pun intended) with both baseball players and fans alike. It was even named Sports Facility of the Year by Street and Smith’s Sports Business Journal and Sports Business Daily.
While it's exciting to think about all of the memories that are sure to be made inside Target Field, Twins fans also cannot forget all the memories made at the Metrodome.
